Our method
Always reward, never force. We use positive reinforcement so dogs learn while relaxed, with as little stress as possible.
Structured daycare, not open space
In an open-space daycare, many dogs share one big room and roam freely all day. It can look fun, but constant play, noise and crowding leave many dogs overexcited, stressed or picking up habits we don't want.
Woofie's Pal is a structured daycare. Our team decide which dogs share a room, for safety and comfort, and the day has a rhythm: enrichment, play and quiet nap time. Our aim: dogs who go home relaxed, not just tired.
Positive reinforcement: how we teach
- Positive reinforcement first: we reward the behaviour we want to see more of.
- Marker words such as "Yes!" tell a dog the exact moment they got it right.
- Short, focused practice of 2 to 5 minutes, spread through the day.
- Calm time-outs of 30 seconds to 1 minute help an excited dog reset. No negative feelings involved, just calm guidance to help dogs regulate their emotions.
Force-free: the line we never cross
We never hit, hurt or frighten a dog. Force-free, reward first. We aim for positive reinforcement and keep stress low.

Group enrichment, every day
Every weekday, each daycare dog joins at least one group enrichment session: a small group of 3 to 6 dogs, led by a trained handler.
Sessions are short games that teach real-life manners, such as Name & Recall (responding to their name and coming back when called) and Door Manners (waiting calmly when a door or gate opens, until their name is called).
Practised often and the same way each time, these games are designed to help dogs become calmer, more relaxed and better at listening.
Every dog learns at their own pace. Our trainers tell you what they observe; we do not promise a set result.
Want more? See the Masterclass program →Your dog's trial day (daycare and boarding)
Every new dog starts with a free trial day before joining daycare or boarding. It lasts 4 to 5 hours and is your dog's first chance to meet our team and the other dogs.
You can stay for the first 30 minutes, but we suggest heading off early unless our team asks you to stay: many dogs settle better once their parent leaves. We send photos and videos to your Zalo or WhatsApp group during the day.
A trial day is a first look, not a final verdict. Some dogs show their full personality only after a few visits, so we keep watching after the trial. If it goes well, your dog can join daycare and boarding, and we'll suggest the care and training options that suit them.
How to prepare
- Bring a few of your dog's favourite treats.
- Give them a good walk or play beforehand to burn off extra energy.
- Tell us honestly about your dog's personality. It helps us plan a good first day.
Before the trial day, your dog needs to be
- At least 4 months old.
- Neutered or spayed by 12 months old.
- Vaccinated against rabies, plus a combination vaccine (e.g. Recombitek C6/CV, DHPPi or Vanguard Plus 5/L).
- On a regular flea, tick and worm prevention schedule.
